Safety Measures
Safe Water Routes
Our tours are limited to protected waters along the coastline of Waikiki.
First Aid Kits
A USCG approved first aid kit is installed in the vehicle.
Licensing & Certifications
All of our captains and federally licensed and each member of our crew is CPR/AED certified.
Commercial Drivers Licenses
Every driver carries a CDL License issued by the Department of Transportation.
Strict Maintenance
Our hydroterras are on a disciplined maintenance schedule. Equipment safety checks are conducted at the beginning and end of every day. All mechanical running gear receive a fresh water rinse every cruise.
Life Jackets
Type I PFDS life jackets are available for every passenger and stowed under each seat. Child and infant life jackets are also provided.
Experienced Crew
Our captains and crew are enrolled in a mandatory DAPI program and are tested periodically per USCG requirements. ​
Safe On-Land Driver Records
Every driver is background checked by the Hawaii DMV and the Department of Transportation.
Regular Inspections
Our hydroterras are inspected per USCG requirements.
Emergency Communication Equipment
Each hydroterra is outfitted with an E-PIRB GPS location safety device, a VHF radio and cell phone service.
Rigorous Training
Our crew undergoes a 3 week safety training program prior to their start date.
Passenger Briefings
A thorough safety briefing is conducted before departure.
